Folding-stacking doors are called by various different names: Folding doors, stacking doors, folding-sliding doors, concertina doors or accordion doors! These modern innovative doors allow exceptionally large openings, bringing the outdoors in. They simultaneously slide and fold out of the way to totally open up your world! These doors have multiple panels (between 3 and 10 panels depending on the entire width of the opening) which fold upon one another when opened, all stacking away neatly and compactly.

Unlock
Disengage the mechanical lock to create room for the first panel to open.
Open Entry / Exit Door
Simply open the door using the knob similar to any access door.
Slide & Stack
Slide the next panel towards the direction of the first opened panel and either pull or push it open.
Slide Back & Lock
Pivot each panel individually back into the frame and slide back. Engage the lock to secure and weatherproof the system.

This type of Folding-Stacking Doors consist of (Three up-to Ten) panel that is hinged onto the frame on the one side and provided with a lock and handle on the other side. This type of aluminium door is great for use as an external lounge door, scullery door or bedroom door leading onto a patio or balcony.

Aluminium Folding-Stacking Doors, are also popular in modest homes. A popular trend nowadays is to have aluminium front doors patterned. This is done with angled mullions and transoms. The doors are usually glazed with 6,38 clear or tinted glass so as to provide some privacy for the occupants.

Unlike any other solution, our glass panels compress together with a weather proof seal that is squeezed in between individual panels when a mechanical key lock is engaged.

This prevents any wind drafting, heat loss or any wind or rain from entering the property.

Folding-Stacking Doors Sizes

Aluminium Folding-Stacking door usually have a minimum width of about 3000mm. Double hinged doors can have a minimum span of about 8000mm or more. It must be noted however that there is a limit to the total area of the glass that hinged doors can carry. Beyond this limit the doors are likely to sag over time and begin to touch the floor. Our hinged doors are based on the Crealco Clip 44 Shopfront system.
