Narrow corridors and rooms can be made to seem wider by placing mirrors on the larger walls. This creates the illusion that the room is double its real width. A typical laminate makeup is a 3mm glass / 0.38mm interlayer / 3mm glass. This gives a final product referred to as 6.38mm laminated glass. Multiple layers of vinyl and thicker glass increase the strength of the finished product.
